The major function of the kidney is to remove waste products and excess fluid from the body in the form of urine The formation of urine involves a very complex procedure of excretion and re- absorption. The major functions of the kidneys are to remove waste products and foreign drugs from the body,The Warning Signs of Kidney Disease Articles release hormones that regulate blood pressure, produce a form of vitamin D that promotes strong and healthy bones and control the production of red blood cells or RBCs.

Warning signs of kidneys:

Most human organs show early symptoms if there is any problem with their functioning but the kidneys are different in that they show no major symptoms at the early stage of the problem. The earliest sign can be found in the abnormal amount of creatinine and urea in the blood. There are a few other ways by which we can find the problems in the kidneys that are listed below.

Urination changes:

People having kidney problems can find changes in their urine as the kidney is responsible for this function. The changes include getting up at night to urinate more than usual. Moreover, the urine may look foamy or bubbly, the amount or the quantity of the urine may change i.e. less or more than usual,, the color may be pale white or dark colored, it may contain blood or you may feel some difficulty in urinating.

Fatigue:

It is the responsibility of the kidney to make the hormone known as erythropoietin. This hormone is responsible for carrying oxygen into the red blood cells. If there are problems in the kidney, the hormone level decreases and the oxygen supplied to the brain and muscles through the blood goes down, resulting in getting tired easily.

Swelling in body and body ache:

When the kidneys cannot remove the excess fluid from the body, it causes swelling in the ankles, feet, face, hands and legs. Body pain, mainly in the back, tends to occur if you have kidney problems.

Skin rash and itching:

If the kidney fails to remove unwanted waste from the blood stream and body, the waste products tend to settle, resulting in skin rashes and itching..

Anemia:

Problems in the kidneys cause breathing difficulty because of anemia. The oxygen being carried to the blood is reduced and extra fluid stays in the lungs. Anemia can lead you to feeling cold all the time even in a warm room. Anemia related to kidney problems can obstruct your brain from getting enough oxygen which may result in dizziness and trouble in concentrating.

Metallic taste in the mouth:

When wastes in the blood build up, it is known as uremia. This can make food taste different and cause Ammonia breath, commonly known as bad breath.

This condition will prevent and probably stop you from enjoying food, no matter how much you love to eat..
