Nobody wants people to call them bald and make fun of them. But baldness is becoming a common problem nowadays. There are about five lakh hair follicles on the body of a young man, of which about one lakh are on the head and the rest are on the whole body. These figures are nearly same in women and men. There are three stages of hair growth. The first condition is the development of hair at a rapid speed which is called Anagen. It lasts for about three to seven years. The second situation is of change, which is called Catagen, there is no growth of hair in it rather hair follicle shrinks. This condition lasted for nearly two weeks. The third position that runs for a few weeks is a state of rest. Hair fall or baldness is of two types, scarring alopecia and non- scarring alopecia.

Types of Alopecia

In scarring alopecia, the skin and hair roots are so damaged that it is almost impossible to regenerate the hair. Such condition arises due to deep wounds on the head, burning and destroying hair roots from any chemical. Hair roots are destroyed by stretching too much time to straighten curly hair. Many diseases, such as cell brain research, leprosy, decay, abscesses, traumatic lesions, herpes zoster, scalarodyma, dissection loops, and herpes simplex are the cause of cholesterol baldness.

The non- scarring alopecia is caused by the wound on the upper layer of the skin of the head. These types of baldness only cause hair to fall, but hair roots are safe. With this kind of baldness, hair restoration is relatively easy.

What is Androgenetic Alopecia?

The main cause of baldness in males is hair loss which is found to be somewhat common in all men but after 50 years it becomes more effective. The genetic problem of premature fall of the hair is called androgenic alopecia, which is commonly known as male pattern baldness. This is a common form of hair fall in both men and women. But the time of starting the baldness and the pattern varies according to the gender.

In the male pattern Baldness hormone called testosterone which is present in men and is responsible for the growth and development of the reproductive organs of men, it turns into dihydrotestosterone(DHT) by an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase. DHT is an androgen hormone. Androgens are responsible for all the biological characteristics of males, including a deeper voice, body hair, and increased muscle mass.

DHT is five times more powerful than testosterone. DHT is principally utilized by the body in the prostate, skin, and hair follicles. When testosterone gets converted into DHT it narrows down the hair follicles and shrinks them and affecting the growth. Changing of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone is a common procedure because the body needs DHT to make testosterone completely effective.

In females, Androgenetic alopecia is also known as female pattern baldness. Women suffering from this problem face hair thinning but the hairline does not recede. Due to androgenic alopecia in women, there is rarely a problem of complete baldness.

There are different patterns in which the head becomes bald from the scalp area. According to experts, the loss of 50 to 100 hair every day is normal, but when this number becomes 100 or more it becomes a matter of concern.

Medicines do not work for long in Androgenetic Alopecia. So the best solution to this is the hair transplant. You can go for hair transplant in Gurgaon India. This method is easy, fast and painless because of local anesthesia; the patient remains fully conscious but does not experience pain. By this method, the patient's hair may be grafted in a day, which will grow later. Those people who are victims of baldness can take advantage of this technique. Those who have lost their hair due to injuries or burns in childhood can also grow hair again using the technique. The cost of hair transplant is cost effective when compared to other methods in the long run. It is a wise investment and worthy.

This technique of hair transplant is not only science but also art. The success of this technique depends on the doctor's expertise in this field.
