Every time you read something on the Internet it's about someone making $12,000 over a two day period or $37,000 last month...right? Do you really believe that they are doing that? Do you further believe that they are going to tell you how to do it for $17.00 or whatever that ad you are looking at says? Most likely not. Please read on and I will discuss this.
You hear these tales about making thousands or tens of thousands of dollars every week on marketing on the web. What is your story? Made anything... a hundred,
less?
Don't let it get to you, they say over 90% of Internet Marketers make $50.00 a month - OR LESS! Now that says a lot, doesn't it? No, this is not where I say how much I make either. I am not going to try to get you to buy anything from me.
Right now I am at a place in my Internet career that I just want to give it up and get a real job. That is how I really feel. Okay, so what's with writing another article?
I know that like any business venture, it takes time and patience. The "World Wide Web" isn't any different than any other business or store that has ever been started. You will only get out of it what you put in.
First of all, I am currently only doing a heck of a lot of time and personal effort. (The good part is it's from my own home.) Second, I am enjoying what I am doing. Third, and most importantly, I am retired so I have the time.
Those of you who are not retired or well off financially, that third item could present a lot of problems. And I do mean a lot! If you are still working, there are not many openings in your schedule already. If you put all of that into a venture in here and do not see quick results, your tolerance level won't last for long and quitting will become much more of an answer much sooner. Understandable.
However, you will miss out on an eventual goldmine in doing so. There is a major difference between the Internet and a regular business and it is that your overhead is extremely low.
Almost everyone who tries this already has a computer on line. Computer access is a very common thing these days. You can sell and promote other peoples stuff and make money! You can do all of this AT ANY TIME OF DAY! Now that is a lot of things going for you IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT DOING THIS!
You should ask yourself if you really want to want to work a business of your own. (It can be done from almost anyplace!) You need to know that YOU can devote time on it every day. This will require YOU to be TOTALLY committed! If you can answer these things to yourself in the affirmative, then give it your best and GO FOR IT!
I told you that I have reached a point where I am ready to quit. Unfortunately it was true. But over my lifetime, I have began 4 other businesses, and they have all been successful.
Initially in all four cases, I more than once in each given thoughts of quitting. But I didn't. I can say looking back, that all four of those start-ups, had lots of stress, heartbreak and lots of expenses.
Given the opportunity would I do them again? HECK YES! Wouldn't hesitate for a moment. You ask why? Once operational, I had respect of my peers, made my family proud, and made lots of money. The one thing I have not said was the self pride of my accomplishing my goals.
Those are the things that will get you through this initial start up period you are now in. Knowing that if you just stick with it, that you are giving it your all, and knowing that when you succeed that you have done something that none of those giving you grief now can or most likely ever will. That surely is worth it, isn't it? YOU KNOW IT IS!
