The reason so many online businesses fail is because they forget about the people.  Entrepreneurs tend to get so caught up in worrying about the product or how their site looks that they completely forget about the people.  The same can be said about Christian businesses,Why Christian Businesses Are To Serve The People Articles but it is amplified so much more. You are expected to serve your fellow brothers.

When you look at successful Christian businesses, they are always devoting their time and energy towards the people.  After all, it is the customers that will decide whether your business has success or fails.  Without customers, you have no way of making any money.  So how can you make your business about the people?

The first thing you have to realize is the business is not about you.  You have to be willing to open up and give people the time of day.  Hiding behind a business name or a web site is not going to get the job done.  Show people who you really are and that you care about their wants and needs.

There are far too many entrepreneurs who are simply looking for another sale.  If you take the time to interact and talk with people, they will see that you are looking out for the best of them.  Once you have shown people you care more about them than their money, you will have won them over.

Christian businesses should be about unselfishness, giving, and serving others.  While you do want to make money off of your business so you can pay the bills and get by, your main goal should be honesty and trust.  Talk to people on the internet and find out what they are looking for.  From there, you can offer them ideas, information and products that can truly benefit their lives.

Offering information that is pointless will not get the job done.  Successful businesses know how to give their customers and prospects value.  If you can provide people with valuable information and products, you will be doing a good deed while receiving return customers at the same time. Remember Leviticus 19:11, "Do not steal, Do not lie. Do not deceive one another."

It can be difficult generating traffic to your site and finding customers out of this traffic.  Because of this, you have to devote your time and energy toward finding targeted traffic.  This is traffic from people who care about what you have to offer and are willing to look over your business.  The best places to find targeted traffic are in Christian forums and blogs and by writing Christian articles and submitting them to article directories.

If you are considering starting a Christian business, it is important you understand it is about the people.  While you do start a business to make money, your intentions should be strictly on serving those who come to your site to better their lives.
