Have you ever felt a sudden connection to a loved one who has passed away, perhaps through a seemingly random event? This article delves into the mysterious ways our departed loved ones might be reaching out to us, from finding dimes to feeling a gentle tingle. Discover the fascinating stories and subtle signs that suggest our loved ones are still with us in spirit.
I once had a client who was convinced that her late husband, Jim, had returned to Earth as a cat. Jim had passed away six months earlier, and she often found herself reminiscing about their 31 years together while sitting in her backyard garden. During these moments, a fluffy white cat would frequently appear, sometimes stopping to look at her and meow before scampering off.
While I do believe in reincarnation, I gently explained that it was unlikely Jim had become the cat. Instead, it seemed more plausible that Jim's spirit was influencing the cat to appear during her moments of reflection. "It was Jim's way of saying hi and letting you know he's thinking of you too," I told her.
Stories like this are not uncommon. Many people report experiencing signs from their loved ones in spirit, such as a butterfly landing on a headstone just as they arrive to pay their respects, or a car alarm going off when they talk about how much they miss a friend. Have you ever noticed a song playing on the radio that reminds you of someone who has passed away, just as you were thinking about them?
While the mechanisms behind these occurrences remain a mystery, they happen more often than we might realize. It's essential to stay aware of these subtle signs, such as finding dimes and feathers.
At a recent public message event, I felt drawn to a woman with strikingly deep blue eyes. As I connected with her energy, I imagined a dime. "Why is a dime so important to you?" I asked, puzzled.
She shrugged, but her friend nudged her and reminded her of the dime she had found outside the door earlier. The woman had been hoping for a message from her mother, and finding the dime seemed like a sign.
I then described an Italian woman in a kitchen making cannolis, which the woman confirmed was her mother. I provided more evidence and a message from her mother in spirit. "Oh, I'm going to keep this lucky dime," she said, reaching into her pocket.
"That's one way our loved ones in spirit let us know they're around, watching over us," I explained. "They take the change people drop and move it with their energy so we find it. Save those coins. I put them in a jar and at the end of the year, donate the money to charity. That's my way of returning the spirit money back to spirit."
I then asked the group if they had ever found feathers or seen them float down from the sky, especially when no birds were around. A few people raised their hands. "That's another way spirit contacts us," I said.
"Do you ever feel a tingle that runs up your back or down your arms when you're thinking about someone who has died?" Many people nodded. "That's a spirit hug. Next time that happens, imagine the person holding you in their arms and giving you a loving hug."
The rest of the event went well, and I continued bringing through evidence of life after death for many in the audience. As people filed out of the room, I hoped their loved ones would find a way to touch in with them. Perhaps a few of them would stop to pick up a dime or feather they might have ignored before.
By staying open to these signs, we can feel a continued connection to our loved ones, knowing they are still with us in spirit. Whether it's a dime, a feather, or a gentle tingle, these small moments can bring immense comfort and reassurance.
Sometimes, I Blush
Sometimes, I can’t believe the words that tumble out of my mouth. It happens when I connect with a spirit that’s for one of my clients... “Did your father curse a lot?” I’ll ask, and get a nodding head in reply. When my clients’ spirit people come through, they often speak of regrets. When that happens, I remember reading an article written by a palliative nurse: “The Top Five Regrets People Make on Their Deathbed.”How to Identify a Psychic Scam
