Recently read Timon of Athens? Just got you home from watching the production of Tire, Prince of Paris, did you? Yes - we did not think. These two are actually dramatic works written by the most famous playwright of all time, Mr. Bill Shakespeare, but these particular examples rank among his obscure efforts. Romeo and Juliet on the other hand? We are sure that you must have heard about that.

The play is alive and thriving for centuries due to several reasons. First of all,Romeo and Juliet: First of the Red Hot Lovers Articles it's just plain good. Love, drama, quarreling families, traitors, swordsmen, high-speed car chasers - it's all up to him (except for the car chase, but you can bet 'Billy Boy did those with Henry Ford Would have put people into it too) were born a few hundred years ago). Second, it is an audience enjoyment. Okay, so this does not equal the delight of today's audience - there is no nudity, outburst, or excitement - but at least it is not King Henry VI Part 2. Next, Romeo and Juliet is a regular rise of The Planet of the Apes.

But the third and most important, it was the first. A first great sad love story. In fact, even critics of Shakespeare's time were not sure that you could call a love story a tragedy, because they felt it seemed like a bit of a stretch. However, Shakespeare killed a few characters throughout the play, so that made for a possibly controversial mild subject.

Romeo and Juliet have given way to hundreds of adaptations since then, and have served as inspiration for almost every love story, at least to some extent. If an old drama that has been going on for centuries, like the quotations from Romeo and Juliet, must survive, it is still prevalent in our normal activities:

"Romeo, Romeo! Are you Romeo?"

"parting is such sweet sorrow."

"What we call a rose by any other name will smell as sweet."

"A plague o 'both of your houses!"

"I love you. You're the only reason for me being alive ... if that's what I am."

Actually, our sources are now telling us that The Twilight Saga: New Moon has one last. But you get the idea. In fact, it connects with Shakespeare's famous work to show how romantic films are made even today. A pair of teenagers who feel that is the only other thing worth living? Familiar?

Of course, you can also mentally compare your current love to two star-crossed lovers. It certainly makes sense - we know how common you have in that exam and how long the two of you have been spending together. Just don't drink any poison on it. If you die while taking it, you will be marked below. Click here for more Shayari for love.
