The Storm fashion brand began in London in the Late 1980's, primarily launching a range of designer watches from their Carnaby Street store. Since 1989 the brand has gone from strength to strength and has branched out into designing jewellery, sunglasses, umbrellas, fragrances, clothing, footwear, wallets and of course bags. The Storm range of men's and women's bags have proved very popular over the years, however in this article we're going to focus on their range of school bags.
First off the mark we have the Jude bags from Storm. Available in three primary colours being red, green and blue, this stylish and striking bag has proved one of the more popular school bags in 2011. Measuring 34 centimetres wide by 26 centimetres high and 12 centimetres deep and featuring a large side zipped pocket plus an internal coin pocket, there's plenty of room for books, notepads, stationary and other items such as an umbrella and packed lunch. The hard wearing faux leather fabric features a perforated effect front panel which contrasts perfectly with the dotted Storm logo. The adjustable shoulder strap is both strong and comfortable and this bag is ideal for use both in and out of school.
Taking on a different aspect of retro styling is the Storm Abbey Messenger bag. Available in distressed brown leather look PU with antique brass metalwork makes this one of the more stylish school messenger bags and is ideal for older students. The ¾ front flap lifts to reveal a handy Velcro secured drop pocket for pens, mobile phone or an mp3 player. A second drop pocket inside the main compartment is also large enough to accommodate a mobile phone or ipod. Measuring 33 centimetres by 30 centimetres and 10 centimetres deep offers plenty of room for books and papers, as well as all the other bits and bobs you're likely to need.
Lastly, and largest of all is the Storm Union Flag Messenger Bag. Featuring a modern and monochrome take on the Union Jack with Storm London embroidered on the front flap makes this one of the funkiest school messenger bags available from the London based designer. Measuring 34 centimetres in both width and height, and being 12 centimetres deep makes this the roomiest in Storm's range of designer school bags. As with the Jude and Abbey bags, the Union Flag messenger bag is made from tough faux leather PU and features a full length drop pocket within which is a phone pocket and a zipped coin pocket. The main compartment is lined in red, white and blue fabric and the adjustable faux leather shoulder strap is both comfortable and stylish.
Whether you want the retro chic of the Jude bag, fly the flag with the Union bags or the timeless styling and distressed leather of the Abbey school messenger bags; you can certainly study in style with Storm.
