Centuries Old Mystery Solved; It Could Change Your Life

Read the papers, watch the news, and talk to your friends.  The price of gas is skyrocketing.  The price of everything is rising.  Will you have a job?  Will you be able to sell your home? Should you invest your savings in a turbulent stock market? What should be done about the wars in the Middle East?  Will terrorism strike again? This is certainly a time of uncertainty.  But what if solving an age-old mystery could provide you with the insight to make wise decisions about your future?  I am talking about a real life mystery more exciting than the fictional “Di Vinci Code” revealed straight from the source of the mystery.  One of the greatest mysteries of all times has been solved.I have been an Air Force pilot who commanded C-141 flights to Viet Nam and around the world, a senior executive at the FAA and NASA, and the senior policy adviser for aviation on the White House National Science and Technology Council serving Presidents Clinton and Bush, but I count this as a minor accomplishment compared to being shown how to unlock the mystery of the last book in the New Testament Bible, the book of Revelation.Hundreds of books have been written on Revelation, each containing scholars’ interpretations and points of view.  After more than 40 years studying the biblical text of the Revelation, I humbly say that I have discovered the key to unraveling the mysteries of Revelation by being guided by Jesus’ words elsewhere in the Bible. The mystery of the Revelation prophecy that has eluded mankind for almost 2000 years is now solved by the author of the mystery; God. The key is that Revelation was written out of chronological order at God’s direction to conceal its meaning until the end-times. But why would the Apostle John, who was directed to write the revelation by God, write it out of order?  The answer is that he didn’t.  He was told to “Write in a book what you see.” Do you see the key? Revelation is confusing because it appears to be written in chronological order but is not. It is like a play that God showed John, but several scenes were shown to him out of chronological order.  As a result each generation could read events from their own time into the revelation events. This would lead them to believe that they were living in the end-times while preserving the true meaning of the revelation to be discovered as the end-times draws near. As I worked to reorder the Revelation text using information throughout the Bible, the interpretation emerged.  I had no idea how the pieces fit until the reordering was complete.  Once begun, my spine tingled as each chapter finally fell into place.  It is an amazing story that is different than what I expected when I began.  Jesus has provided us what we need to unlock Revelation.  But what does that mean to you?Once the revelation is properly ordered, the sequence of events became clear.  Using the Bible to interpret itself, the symbols can also be understood.  The result is a compelling story of the U.S. efforts to spread democracy and a market based economy around the world, and the rise of terrorism to counter these efforts.  It speaks specifically to the importance of oil and the price of grain and other staples leading to economic turmoil. Does any of this sound familiar?  It also speaks to communities and nations fighting to keep their economies afloat.  And, it talks of a great leader who will arise to bring world order, but will deceive many.  Most importantly, it describes God’s love of those who believe in him and what we must do to survive the things that are coming. It is a story of your future and the rewards that await you if you persevere and keep your faith in God. The bottom line is that by understanding the book of Revelation you can find the answers to the questions you face in these uncertain times.Charles H.
