He became a well known Franciscan that many consider to be a true saint and mystic. This feat is one he is said to have done several times before he died,Common Stories Of Miracles Which Happened Somewhere Around The World Articles once with the Pope himself watching. The story of St. Bernadette is as interesting as it is moving. Even though she died around 130 years ago her body is said to remain basically the same as it was when she was alive. In the open fields by Fatima Portugal another miracle is believed to have occurred with the sun about October 1917. Three shepherd children said the Virgin Mary said to them a miracle would occur at a certain date and time. Around noon, the sun began to zig-zag while dropping down to the earth. Thousands of believers had gathered to watch if this could come true and confirmed later that it had.Another inspiring story is the one of Martin de Porres. He was a lay brother of the Dominican order that lived in Peru. He is said to have preformed a gambit of different miracles, but what he is most known for is being in several places at the same time. Many different people witnessed this and he would often give detailed descriptions of both places he had been seen at.A miracle that revolves around the Roman Catholic Eucharist is the narrative of one special mass which took place about 595 AD. One of the ladies cooking the bread for the mass said she no longer believed in the Eucharist. Later that night she was also refused communion. Later in the small church some of the bread she cooked had become real flesh and blood. Some of this bread remains stored at a small church in Germany.Another strange miracle is the one of the voice of Saint Clelia Barbieri. She was of Italian descent and died of tuberculosis at the young age of 23. Her fellow parishioners truly believed she would never leave them and can often be heard singing with the church choir. This was first heard one year after her death and is still heard today.Stories of miracles which also happened in the distant past are also common, just not well known. They take several different forms. They must be viewed by several people. For every 1000 stories told, typically only one will be sanctioned from the church.
