The clocky alarm clock is one item I will admit to waiting at the doorstep for. As a habitual snooze button slammer,Clocky Alarm Clock Review Articles the idea of an alarm clock which would race away from me before I got a chance to shut it off was very intruiging. The general idea is this, the alarm will sound at a designated time just as any alarm clock will, but when you press the snooze button and the alarm sounds again, the wheels drive the clock radio off the night stand and onto the floor where it continues to sound while puttering around like R2D2 until you shut it off. With clocky, there is no more need for the classic “alarm clock across the room” trick.

If I had to choose one thing I absolutely love about this clock, it would have to be its simplicity. I was litterally able to figure out every function of this clock radio within the first 30 minutse of receiving it, and without the provided instructions. Clocky features a row of four buttons on the top for snooze, setting the time, and alarm, as well as two buttons on the front to toggle the wheels and alarm on and off. The snooze settings range from 0 to 9 minutes, where 0 minutes tells clocky to move right away.

At a shockingly high MSRP of $49.99, I definitely had to find some competitive prices before I clicked the “buy” button. Luckily, you can buy these things off the net for a lot cheaper, which is ecactly what I did.

What I love about the sound of Clocky's alarm is how it differs from all other alarm clocks. Over the many many years of using an alarm clock radio I have grown accustomed to the typical “beep beep”. With clocky's almost alien like beeps and chirps, I couldn't sleep through this thing if I tried.
