How to Use Wireless Technology to your Advantage

I wanted to talk to you about wireless technology because there are a lot of people that don’t see the benefit of it. You can do a lot of amazing things with it, but you first have to own it. That’s what is so sad is because we’re entering the wireless revolution today. This is the start of it, yet people aren’t taking advantage of it. You can do all sorts of things that will save you a lot of time and make you a much more productive person, yet I don’t see people taking advantage of it. Maybe sales people really aren’t selling the benefits of such technology.

I think the biggest benefit is mobility. This gives you the ability to do things from many different locations. Imagine traveling to China, but still being able to manage all your emails and calls from there. That’s what today’s cell phone will allow you to do. It isn’t a complicate thing to accomplish either. There are bosses all over the world that are doing that right now. They travel around and they run their entire business from their Blackberry and they do fine doing it.

Of course you don’t have to be that mobile. Sometimes being able to walk around the office and write emails talking into a wireless microphone is much more practical for you. You can actually do that today. The new versions of windows actually contain the software to read your voice. That means if you want to write memos or emails, you can do it while walking around talking into a microphone.
