My Olympus E5 Review: Features That Perform

Any time you purchase something new, and particularly something pricey like this camera, you do have the fear that the camera won't hold up to what it promises.

Using the Camera

Clearly, the most important thing about any camera is how great the photos are and how it enables you to capture the best shots possible. In this Olympus E5 review, I have to say that the features it comes with work great. These features include a high-quality image processor and sensor, the E lens, a rapid shutter speed, and both manual and auto focus features. More than that, the camera also has a swivel LCD monitor that measures 3 inches and that can turn 270 degrees. Together, these features provide you with incredibly detailed and true-to-life images, and you can even easily take candid shots, self-portraits, and overhead shots with ease, too. I have thoroughly tested these features out with hundreds of my own pictures so far, and I have not been disappointed.

Using It Outdoors

In my Olympus E5 review, I want to mention that one of the reasons I bought this model was because of the promise it offered for durable use outdoors. It is waterproof, but I have not yet tested out that feature. However, it also has a magnesium-alloy case that is dust-proof, and I have used it outdoors in numerous dusty settings so far, and I have not had any problems at all with its image quality after using it in these settings.

The Bottom Line

The bottom line in this Olympus E5 review is that the features that sold me on buying this camera have not let me down in any way. I have been more than pleased with the flexibility and versatility this camera has provided in its features as well as in its high-quality images, too. This is a camera that I hoped would help me to capture any shot when I purchased it, and after having used its features in real-life settings over the last few weeks, I am not at all disappointed with what it can actually do.
