RGB Colour LED Strip Lights are designed to offer a huge variety of programmable effects at a running cost that isn't prohibitive to the bill payer. The low energy consumption of these Lights means the colourful lighting displays you create can be even larger and run for even longer than ever before.RGB Colour LED Strip Lights are essentially long,RGB Colour LED Strip Lights Articles thin pieces of circuit board with surface mounted devices positioned along their length. When you buy this type of strip light you will receive a strip of colour changing RGB LEDs, a transformer and connector cables, an RGB control unit and remote. The RGB Lights connects to the control unit through a 4 core cable that consists of the red, green and blue communication wires and a black power wire. The RGB control unit in turn connects to the transformer unit through a two core (red and black) cable. Finally, the tranformer connects to the mains voltage through a conventional 3 pin plug.Once everything is set up the Remote Controller can be used to communicate with the red eye sensor on the RGB control unit to programme the RGB Colour LED Strip Light. RGB refers to the three primary colours (red, green and blue) that are mixed at the source of each LED. By doing so they can recreate a plethora of different colours and move effortlessly between them. The Magic Lighting Remote Controller will allow you to set static colours or colour changing sequences. Before buying this typ of light you also need to determine whether or not you need an RGB Amplifier. This can be done by calculating the power requirement of your setup. If the power requirement exceeds the load of your initial transformer, which is 90 - 100 watts, then you will need an amplifier to boost the power.RGB Colour LED Strip Lights also have an IP65 silicion coating that protects the upper side of the LED Strip Light from water and dust particles. That means they can be used in kitchens and bathrooms, or even outsie, but they cannot be fully submerged. All our RGB Colour LED Strips are available in 5 metre or 10 metre reels (which consist of two 5 metre reels). They can also be made to bespoke lengths. If you want to achieve more complex lighting arrangements than are available with the Remote Controller we recommend using DMX Control.
