The development of the LED flashlight

The diodes in case of a LED flashlight are encapsulated in a case that is transparent and is made of either epoxy or silicone. This helps to hold them in place and to prevent any kind of damage even if the flashlight falls down.

In the beginning, the LEDs used to be of red colour only. This is why they were being used primarily as the indicator lights on a variety of electronic devices. This leads to more intense and brighter light. The LED flashlight produces a light that is more natural and does not attract insects. These are highly durable lights that can stand up to being turned on and off quite frequently. As the LED flashlight uses less power, hence the battery powered devices are able to last significantly much longer.
