The fort entry is closed after sunset because it is said to be the most horrific time to visit the fort. One of those creepy stories is the story of princess Ratnavati, a beautiful and charming princess of Bhangarh. It is told by the village premise that princess Ratnavati is the major reason behind the desolation of the fort.
The story: A local villager of Bhangrah who is also a black magician adorned by the Charming beauty of Rani Ratnavati. And he decided to get her at any cost. So he enraptures her Beauty product ( the perfume she uses) to make her fall for him. But Rani Ratnavati got to know of the Tantrik’s evil acts. She throws out the perfume bottle on a stone and the Tantrik’s black magic failed as a result he died. But before his death, he cursed the fort that no one could ever be able to survive here. From that point, the fort is turned out to be a haunted site.
Loud screams can be heard in the fort premises after sunset. The place is said to be the most horrific place in India.
• The place is exactly located 90 km far from Alwar.
• Timmings : 6:00am-6:00pm
I must recommend you visit in winter as you have to walk a lot to explore the whole fort.
