Acknowledge Mistakes

This is most important as no human being can be perfect and immune to mistakes. If your client is not happy with the use of color in his business emblem, then simply admit the fact. Take Lessons from Disappointments

Majority of graphic artists who go through a bad patch get frustrated soon. Remember that it is easy to feel depressed than face the rough waters. To avoid continuous setbacks, it is therefore important to learn from disappointments.

Understand What Caused the Failure

One can under perform for a number of reasons. This can be explained with the help of an example. Consider you have failed to deliver a project in time. The client is furious and you don't know what to do! The best way to handle such situations is by analyzing the cause of late project delivery. What were the reasons?

- Was the design brief too sketchy and missed on significant points? If yes, then t  is better to ask your patron to furnish you with more details, and avoid wasting time researching without understanding the nature of the business.

- Did you procrastinate?

- Or the project was too difficult to complete within a tight deadline?
To be successful, one should ponder on the above points and learn a lesson. Only then one will be able to reap the fruits of success.

Never Look Down Upon Yourself

Stop thinking that you are not capable of creating unique logos. Yes, never look down upon yourself, instead be optimistic in your approach. The client will give negative feedback, but as a true professional your goal should be to make amends and not criticize yourself. There is no point in feeling gloomy. Make sure to focus on the feedback and make the necessary changes in the design. The only way out is accepting facts and think of ways to improve the quality of work.
