Believe it or not,How to Clean with Vodka Articles vodka is a great alternative to most toxic commercial cleaners. You can use vodka to clean a number of everyday and more unusual cleaning applications. You don't need some expensive vodka to bring the sparkling cleanliness of your home back. Even the opposite, cheap vodka is the better solution for such a task. Here are a few useful tips on how to clean with vodka.Instructions
  • Use vodka to remove stains, such as grass and vomit, from your laundry. Simply soak a clean cloth with vodka and blot the stain. Heavily beaded garments or beading can also be cleaned with vodka. The alcohol will restore the sparkle look of the beads and clean the fabric underneath. A mixture of 1 part vodka and 5 parts water can be used to freshen clothes. For a better smell of the clothes, you can add a bit of lavender or other essential oil to the diluted vodka, as suggested by cleaners Hendon, which is also good for removing cigarette odours, either by itself or after washing.
  • Use vodka to clean your bathroom. It can easily restore the shine of  glass and chrome surfaces. Also, it will help you to remove that spotty dullness that affects the fixtures in your bathroom. Pour vodka in a spray bottle and dilute it with some water. Use the mixture to clean off hairspray and soap residue from ceramic tile and bathtubs. Use straight vodka to remove mold and mildew.
  • Clean small, delicate items, such as pieces of jewellery or eyeglasses. With the exception of softer and more delicate items like opals and pearls, most types of jewellery will come clean with a soak in vodka.  Make the glass prisms of your chandelier or lamps look sparkling again by giving them a good rub with a soft cloth dampened in vodka.
  • Vodka is an environmentally friendly cleaning product  and works pretty well for removing residues of various sorts from different items, even skin. According to cleaning Herne Hill experts, this use of vodka can safe you a lot of money on expensive and smelly spot removers.
