Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) is the topmost car maker of India. The petrol version of this car has got a decent response from Indian customers. The company is expected that the diesel version of SX4 will perform better than petrol version. It was first showcased at Delhi Auto Expo 2010 along with Maruti Echo. It is expected to compete against Volkswagen Vento, Toyota Etios, Honda Civic and other similar sedans. The company has got very good reputation in the public. So, Auto experts are saying this will be decent hit for the company.      

Interior- Compare to petrol version of it the Company has made some changes. The upcoming diesel version of SX4 comes with dual tone dashboard looks awesome. The interior is well decorated by lights. The steering has got rough grip with tilt option. It gives enough space for all passengers. Head and leg room is good but compare to other similar cars in the market it looks tedious. It has several interior features like front and rear power windows, rear defogger, single zone AC and climate control, ashtray and cigarette lighter, glass antenna for clear reception, day/night rear view mirror, passenger vanity mirror, driver ticket holder, three assist grips, front door trim pockets, etc. 

Exterior- it is a sedan. It does not have much changes compare to the petrol version everything remains same. Customers expected that the company will make some changes. The A pillar of the car looks unique. The head and fog lamps are well designed. It adds sporty look for the car. The emblem of the company right at the center on bonnet looks aggressive. The body colored mirrors and bumpers adds much beauty for the car. It has nice ground clearance which makes you to feel comfort even in worst roads.  Overall it an average car compare to other similar sedans in India.

Engine- According to the official reports of MSIL it will be equipped with 1.6 liter diesel engine, 16 valves, DOHC, VVT powertrain.  It will have a capacity to generate utmost power of 104.68 Ps at 5600 rpm and produces a peak torque of 145 Nm at 4100 rpm. It comes with 5 speed manual gearbox and 4 speed automatic transmissions. The company has incorporated the advanced technology like VVT which gives more power for the car. Overall it comes in two engine options it depends on your budget which one to buy.

Safety- The upcoming Maruti SX4 is expected to loaded with advance safety features like 3 point rear seat belts and 2 point lap belt, height adjustable front seat belts, Airbags for driver and passengers, Child lock, side impact protection beam, front door lock canceller, ABS/EBD, 3 point ELR front seat belt pretensioners and force limiters, front and rear fog lamps.
