To give you an example,Ambient Weather RC. Articles this cool clock, pull up what time it is for you using a short wave radio signal.

It has an easy to see rectangular display, and it really does fill nearly the whole face of the clock while showing also what the date is, as well as showing the day of the week. It also show the time that you have chosen for the alarm to sound, and a built in thermometer to make you aware of what the temps are at the room you are sleeping in. Lastly the display has an option for having the light on. If you wish to sleep with a night light, you surely can.

At 78 decibels, its not the loudest alarm clock out there, but it gives off a sound at a higher volume than a wrist watch would, and was with out a doubt the loudest travel version of an alarm clock that was tested. The only rub with this clock is that the alarm only sounds for a full minute, no longer. If that duration of alarm is not good for you, it is a good move to use the idea to back it up with a wake up call from the desk of wherever you are staying. You can also back it up with the wrist watch, and of course with your cell phone.

Some advise on how to sleep on the road is this. First its a great idea to take a bottle of passion flower capsules with you. Please read up on it a bit. Passion flower works great for me in helping me fall to sleep, and is an all natural herbal tonic to help one relax and sleep well. The next suggestion is to turn off your cell phone if possible. The darker the room is, the better you will sleep, and if you have that wrist watch back up, maybe you can live with the phone off for 5 to 7 hours. You may also get to sleep faster by simply knowing that it is impossible for the phone to ring. Sleep is important, and is not an act of selfishness. Do not permit yourself to feel bad if you miss a call.

Taking better care of your natural need for sleep creates the greater likelihood that you will feel strong the next, and be of better service to those you care about, and to yourself. Do not permit your room to be too hot or too cold for your comfort, try to avoid drinks with caffeine closer than 5 hours before bedtime, and try to understand that most problems cannot be dealt with until the next day.

Learn to take the pressure off of yourself. Yes that is always easier said than done. Yet you can do it. Sleep well. It gives you what you need to have a better tomorrow.
