Selection of the best should involve both validation and some amount of self belief .....otherwise the search for the best....

Should we search deeply & continuously and then select the best or make the best out of what have been selected? What should be our way of life in corporate,Be best otherwise your best can become worst? Articles let it be the selection of candidates or selection of a project or a product or a service or a decision etc.   Should it not be ‘the best’ in the first place?  If so, should we not intensify our search until we get the best?

This is the most common problem every corporate employee may be facing in their daily life.  Every selection process is not so easy or justifiable.  Every selection process involves & includes both some amount of validation and some amount of assumption.   The assumption is that the selection or the choice is right and the best.

Whether assumption or self belief/self capability should be used as the second most ingredients besides the validation in the selection process?  Assumption always leads to confusion and assumption is always a probability and need not be a possibility.

Assumption remains as an assumption whether one validates and or re-validates it.  If the self belief and capability are admixed in the selection process, best can be made out of the selection than taking up a never ending journey for purchasing an almost impossible commodity called ‘the best’.

Our endeavor for choosing or selecting the best should end when our confidence agrees to the fact that they can extract the best out of the choice.  However strong the lock may be, the lock may go useless when the key is lost.  So is the best choice.  If we are not the best, the best can perform like worst.  Every corporate and its employees must be aware of the above truth.

Do animals choose or go for selecting the best?  How about plants?  Neither the animals nor the plants seem to invest their time or energy resource in selecting the best but they do invest their time and energy resource in making the selection the best.  Even the process of evolution also follows only the same epilogue.  Animals and plants are driven more by practical wisdom and criticality in fulfilling the immediate needs.  Just imagine how mosquito selects its breeding site.  It will make the available resource the best rather than be too choosy. It breeds in dirty water, ponds, water with full of effluents or chemical etc.  Think of cockroach how it makes the available things the best.

Think of any habitat, none of the plants in the respective habitats like aquatic, xerophytes or halophytes went in search of the best but made the best out of what is available.

The best is more often in our creating than in existence. The best does not exist anywhere at anytime in any form.  The best is nothing but an improvisation of what is. Hence see how you can make the best out of what you have instead of searching for the best.  The profoundness and bounty of nature is all about not searching the best but make the best out of what you have and be very successful.
