Scotland is known to be one of the most historic countries in all of United Kingdom and maybe even all of Europe. The thought of its rich history has always been noticed by the masses,History and Tourism with the Royal City of Edinburgh Articles stemming to the notion that Scotland’s capital Edinburgh (7th most populous city in U.K) has the historical affiliation due to its medieval structures that dates back into the 1800s. Right now some of its most notable and well-known structures are still intact thanks to the wonderful architects Edinburgh has.  Over the years these structures have gone to the normal wear and tear of time and nature but of course due to its great foundations, we can still see them standing tall and preserved.

The Edinburgh Castle, known as one of the oldest structures in all of Europe is still standing tall in the heart of Edinburgh, cathedrals and buildings are still fully functional and hot tourist commodities, it is really hard to ignore the fact that architects Edinburgh has been using have a great taste in terms of preserving and conserving these fine structures of historical pedigree. More impressive is the thought of these historical structures being known worldwide because of its historical value, which most tourists gives big appreciation due to its tenure and of course impact to the medieval history.

Tourism in Edinburgh has always been about history, we all know the legendary Royal Mile in which exquisite architectural designs from the early to late-medieval era has been standing tall and is only walking distance to each other. The Edinburgh officials has always been strict in protecting the historical high rises and structures because they know how much important they are to their countries culture and history. That is why architects Edinburgh employs surely are the best in their nation.  My overall thought is
Edinburgh is doing to the right thing on sticking in to making its history closely knitted with their tourism.

Of course we can see some buildings with a more modern touch, but mostly, we will see that Auld Reekie or Old Smoky in Scot, (Edinburgh’s known nickname due to its chimney days pouring out smoke in the air.) sticking to its original structural and architectural designs and just having some conservation and preservation designs for it so it can last long. Clearly architects Edinburgh use are those who are tenured and experienced it its field to really bring out the history on each structures or buildings. The Scottish Parliament in which is located in Edinburgh has a little modern touch thanks to the collaboration of great minds and we are expecting other structures like libraries and museums following its footstep on modernization be bold.

Furthermore history is a big plus on any tourism and with that being known we should appreciate what it brings to the table or better yet what it brings the city. Architects Edinburgh has are skillful and experienced which gives Edinburgh the upper hand on giving its structures and buildings the best care it can possibly get.
