The National Security Whistleblowers Coalition,What Is The National Security Whistleblowers Coalition? Articles or shortly NSWBC, was founded in 2004 by former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds in league with over 50 former and current United States government officials from more than a dozen agencies. Basically, the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition is an alliance of whistleblowers who have come forward to address weaknesses of US security agencies. The official website of the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition is http://www.nswbc.org/.

National Security Whistleblowers Coalition works to uncover waste, fraud, abuse, and in some cases criminal conduct within the agencies charged with protecting our nation's security.

The Founder of NSWBC and current president is Sibel Edmonds. Sibel Edmonds worked as a language specialist for the FBI's Washington Field Office. During her work with the bureau, she discovered and reported serious acts of security breaches, cover-ups, and intentional blocking of intelligence that had national security implications. After uncovering this information to the FBI, she was fired in March 2002.

The goal of the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition is to help national security whistleblowers through a range of different methods, such as advocacy of governmental and legal reform, provision of comfort and fellowship to national security whistleblowers suffering retaliation and other harms, educating the public concerning whistleblowing activity, and working with other public interest organizations to effect goals defined in the NSWBC mission statement.

The NSWBC membership is exclusively comprised of current or former federal employees or civilians working under contract to the United States who, to their detriment or personal risk, bring to light fraud, waste, and abuse in government operations and agencies when such improprieties compromise the national security of the United States.

The National Security Whistleblowers Coalition demands for Whistleblower Rights for Employees of Intelligence Agencies and Federal Contractors, Classified Disclosures to Congress, Security Clearances, All Circuit Review. Classified Disclosures to Congress should clarify that classified information may be disclosed to a member of Congress or congressional staff as long as that person is authorized to receive such information. Security Clearances means that MSPB is authorized to review cases charging retaliation when an employee's security clearance is revoked and if the MSPB finds retaliation, to reinstate the security clearance. The All Circuit Review would allow the Federal Circuit or any other Federal circuit court to hear whistleblower cases, ending the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit's exclusive jurisdiction over whistleblower appeals.

Basically, the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition is an independent and nonpartisan alliance of whistleblowers that address USA's security weaknesses and inform the respective authorities of security vulnerabilities in our intelligence agencies, at nuclear power plants and weapon facilities, in airports, and at our nation's borders and ports.

The Whistle Blower Act defines the conditions under which a report can be filed against an individual or company who are suspected in fraud involving government money. The Federal Whistleblower Statute is included in a wide range of laws, governing activities ranging from employee safety to environmental protection. The Greater Cincinnati Foundation ("the Foundation") Code of Ethics and Conduct ("Code") requires all employees to observe the highest standard of business and personal ethics in the conduct of their duties and responsibilities.
