All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has issued National Employability Enhancement Mission (NEEM). The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the statutory body and a national-level council for technical education, under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development. AICTE is responsible for proper planning and coordinated development of the technical education and management education system in India.

The NEEM Scheme has social perspective the most perfect way to teach any subject to giving the students on job training. On job training is an integral part of NEEM scheme.

 

National Employability Through Apprenticeship Program (NETAP) is a Public Private Partnership of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. It is a Public Private Partnership of Team Lease Skills University,Neem Scheme Is A Public Private Partnership For Employability Enhancement Articles CII, and NSDC under the National Employability Enhancement Mission of the Ministry of HRD (AICTE). It will help unemployed youth to build skills through Learning by doing and Learning while earning along with providing them with access to practical skills. it will be the world's largest apprenticeship program. It is structured to overcome the current challenges of the Industry.

 

An MoU has been signed between the Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Team Lease Skill University (TLSU). TLSU through the NETAP (National Employability Through Apprenticeship Program me) would facilitate engagement of 5 lakh apprentices over a period of 3 years on voluntary. The Central Government has been taking several initiatives through which it aims of adding 5 million employable youth to the workforce by 2019-20.

 

Earn and Learn scheme was acknowledged by the Central government. They enroll the students with NEEM Accredited program. A NETAP apprenticeship qualifies for credit towards certificates /diploms / degrees offered online by Team lease Skills University (TLSU).

 

These partners mobilizes candidates from all over the country to join the program. They enroll the students with NEEM Accredited program. They facilitate students’ efforts to cope up with new industrial culture. They Conduct regular review with students as well as representatives of the industry to ensure the best outcome of the program for students as well as industry. They also disburse stipend through banks and discharge other regulatory responsibilities of students.

 

NETAP empowers the organizations to appoint trainees in any function under any trade for a minimum period of 3 months to maximum of 24 months depending on the need of the training. Apart from offering on the job training to the candidates, NETAP also offers 200 hours of cloud training to all registered trainees which further enhances the probability of being employable. Cloud training is offered under three modules English language, Computer skills and soft skills.

 

Youth unemployability is a growing challenge because 10 lakh youth will enter the labour force every month. A Public private partners helps in creating employability by providing various skill training, On the job training Special attention to women and lower strata of the society. They empower women to become a major contributor to the skilled workforce. It now looks at scaling it up to provide vocational skills training to more particularly underprivileged and weaker sections of the society and also providing Technical and Non-Technical courses to School / College dropouts and diploma students who failed exams. They also integrate unemployed college dropouts into the mainstream by training them and motivate them to continue formal education. The Partners offer basic, vocational, technical and professional programs with employers at the heart of curricular processes and technology at the heart of operations.

 

A Public Private Partners play a key role to incorporate flexible approach and enhanced access through modular curriculum, blended delivery mode, adaptive instructional timing and extended entry level criteria.
