This great looking smartphone boasts a 4.3 inch LCD capacitive touchscreen, which does a great job of displaying rich, vivid colours thanks to a pixel resolution of 480x 800. This can actually display up to 16 million colours, meaning it is capable of showing video in HD quality. To view the contents of the screen in landscape mode, users simply have to turn the phone, and the built in accelerometer sensor will do the rest.

 

In order to alert users to incoming calls and text messages, both ringing and vibration are utilised. Browsing the internet on the HTC Desire HD is an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Part of the HTC Sense package includes the ability to reside and rearrange test so it fits the screen when zoomed in. Full Adobe flash support is also included a feature which allows the multimedia elements of websites to be enjoyed, such as games and video. Fast 3G connectivity at 14.4 Mbps along with Wi-Fi connectivity are provided to ensure the optimum connectivity for the best browsing experience.

 

A great 8 megapixel digital camera is also installed on the HTC Desire HD handset, which captures high quality snapshots as well as the ability to shoot HD video footage in 720p. Users can stream their video to the big screen thanks to DLNA.

FriendStream, a feature of HTC Sense allows you to update your status on a variety of platforms from on central interface, and you can also view a live feed from all your social networking sites meaning you don’t have to login to each site individually.
