A range of features make the C6 an appealing everyday handset capable of carrying out a range of functions. Entertainment wise,The Nokia C6 Is An Appealing All Rounder Articles the C6 delivers a versatile media player which is capable of supporting most of the common formats of both music and video files. A stereo Fm radio player is included along with a selection of pre-installed games (along with access to a library of extra downloadable games) to keep users entertained for hours on end. Yahoo! messenger, Google Talk and Windows Live messenger all have dedicated applications, so the C6 offers so much more than just talking and texting to stay in touch.

Navigation of the user interface relies on a 3.2 inch TFT touch screen, which utilises a pixel setup of 360x640 to display up to 16M colours. This offers high levels of clarity and detail within the on screen content. A QWERTY keyboard is also included for an efficient means of entering text. This slides out from the back of the handset. An accelerometer sensor is built into the screen, which automatically rotates the onscreen content, dependent upon the orientation of the phone. This allows it to be viewed in both portrait and landscape forms.

A range of means are utilised to keep the C6 connected to cellular networks and the internet. Class 32 EDGE & GPRS keep the C6 connected to cellular networks in areas with little or no 3G coverage. In areas covered by 3G, HSDPA is available at speeds of up to 3.6 mega bytes per second (along with HSUPA), providing a reasonably fast internet connection. Wi-Fi takes advantage of areas where a wireless internet router is located, providing an enhanced web browsing experience thanks to the faster internet connection. Both micro USB and Bluetooth are both provided to connect the Nokia C6 to other hardware devices such as compatible phones and computers, whereby a number of tasks can be carried out.

As mentioned, the Nokia C6 is provided with a built in digital camera boasting 5 mega pixels. This can take high quality images, and has a number of image-enhancing features included in its software, such as autofocus and an LED flash, so quality pictures can be taken no matter what the lighting conditions. The camera can also shoot video in VGA quality at a rate of 30 frames per second.

Internal memory within the C6 is 240 MB as standard, for storing a good number of files such as music tracks, video clips and photos. A 2 GB memory card is pre-installed in the micro SD slot for the same purpose, however further storage can be attained simply by swapping this for a card of up to 16 GB.

Available in both white and black colour variants, the C6 is not just a functional handset, but will also appeal to style conscious users who also view their phone as a fashion statement.
