The Nokia has recently released the N8, their latest Smartphone. It looks set to be a popular handset thanks to the inclusion of features such as an impressive touch screen, Wi-Fi Internet access and a stunning 12 mega pixel digital camera.

The Nokia N8 provides internal storage of 16 GB as standard.  However further storage can be attained by utilising the included micro SD slot and installing a memory card of up to 32 GB.  This offers ample storage for an entire digital music collection for example.  The internal phonebook can store a practically endless number of contacts and also features the popular Photocall function.

 

A long list of features makes the Nokia N8 one of the most versatile handsets available today.  The versatile internal media player supports a whole host of different music and video file formats such as MP3 and MP4.  A number of pre-installed games (along with access to a library of downloadable games) and a stereo FM radio player are also provided to keep users entertained.  Business users are sure to appreciate a document viewer (which is compatible with Microsoft Office and PDF documents).

The dimensions of the Nokia N8 are 113.5x 59.1x 12.9 mm and it weighs in at it a pocket friendly 135 grams.  The 3.5 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen utilises its pixel layout of 360x 640 to display up to 16,000,000 colours, offering unparalleled levels of display quality of on screen images.  The screen itself is manufactured from scratch-resistant materials, protecting it from everyday wear and tear.  An accelerometer sensor is included which rotates the on screen imagery according to the orientation of the phone, allowing it to be viewed in both portrait and landscape forms.

 

The Nokia N8 is the culmination of some of Nokia’s most impressive technology.  The stunning digital camera should be enough to sell the phone on its own whilst its other specifications are simply the icing on the cake.
