The Samsung S8500 Wave was recently released and received a warm welcome due to its unique and appealing styling along with its great list of specifications. Autofocus and LED flash are included to simplify the task of taking great snapshots, no matter what the lighting conditions. The camera can also hoot video of course, and this is in 720p quality at a rate of 30 frames per second. The video function includes continuous autofocus and a video light, so video footage is of a similarly high quality to still images.

 

Standard vibration and ringing are the alert types on offer within the Samsung S8500 Wave. The option to utilise MP3 music files as ringtones is included which allows users to customise their phone in order to hear the song of their choice each time the phone rings.

 

The Samsung Wave is relatively compact at 118x56x10.9mm and is light weight at just 118 grams. Its slimline profile and light weight make it both pocket friendly and comfortable to hold and use. Its styling is unique with a charcoal grey finish tastefully complemented by silver detailing on the buttons.
