Autofocus and LED flash are included to simplify the task of taking great snapshots, no matter what the lighting conditions. The camera can also hoot video of course, and this is in 720p quality at a rate of 30 frames per second. The video function includes continuous autofocus and a video light, so video footage is of a similarly high quality to still images.
Standard vibration and ringing are the alert types on offer within the Samsung S8500 Wave. The option to utilise MP3 music files as ringtones is included which allows users to customise their phone in order to hear the song of their choice each time the phone rings.
