The startup programs are the once to be blamed for this. You see them as icons in your system tray. Most of the gadget programs that you may have downloaded in your computer prefer to log in as soon as your PC is turned ON. Fragmentation means non contagious blocks. To make the blocks contagious windows offers you an option. By doing this all your files get regrouped in contagious blocks. You need to right click on “My computer”, select properties, then tools and select the option “Defragment Now”.
