You have a digital product (or many digital products) you wish to sell. You've designed (or paid someone to design) a beautiful website to display your products. You get a couple hits here and there but realize you need to do more to get that product out where it is seen by a lot of people. The solution is using affiliates. Affiliates are people who make money by promoting your products. Unlike other sources of advertising,Creating Your First Clickbank Product Articles when you use affiliates you don't pay them unless there is actually a sale, so you never spend money on advertising that doesn't result in income for you.

Where to find the affiliates? ClickBank is a company that for a small fee, provides affiliates with access to your website to check out your products who can then direct potential customers to your site. When there is a sale ClickBank collects the payment, pays the affiliate and sends you your share so you don't need to do any extra work.

Registering with ClickBank is a simple procedure where you fill out a couple forms with your basic contact information for payment, name, address, phone, email, website address etc. You never need to worry, as they do not ask for any sensitive information.

To get started you tell ClickBank about your product and once they approve it you negotiate your suggested retail price. All products are listed at less than fifty dollars unless there has been a special arrangement decided before the product is listed.

There are guidelines you must follow. You have to maintain a website, you must have certain pages in that website. One of the "must have" pages for your website is the Pitch (or Sales) page where you will let the customer know what they are getting and why they want it then directing the customer to the ClickBank Order page to make payment arrangements. The other is the Thank You page only seen once the order has been accepted. These two pages have to be under your own domain name.

ClickBank only allows digitally delivered products and/or printed materials that are not necessary to the downloaded material. The materials must be such that you can download within 24 hours of purchase. You must be willing and able to provide phone numbers and/or email addresses for technical support where there is a live person who will respond within one working day. Your support pages must be on your website and in English and your products must comply with all state, federal and FTC regulations as regards disclosure, consumer protections and all other topics. Honesty in your advertising is a must, nothing misleading or ambiguous.

A few of the big "do not's" are: Do not let anyone other than the customer be allowed to enter orders, credit card or bank information. Do not use Pop-up commercials or spamming and no Sale of multi-level memberships, franchises, pornographic material, spy ware, etc. is allowed.

ClickBank reserves the right to terminate the membership of any vendor who violates their rules and regulations at any time.
