Back in 2005 I had a friend who had a huge dilemma. He had a constant obsession with making more and more money. Not only did he want more and more money,How To Make Consistent Progress With an Online Business Articles he wanted to "work" at home for it on his computer, nothing wrong with that, nice life if you can get it

And at the same time, he was willing to work away at his full time job just so that he could continue to pay the bills while he built up his dream job of working at home and being financially independent.

It was also peculiar because he even had plans of improving his lifestyle but to many of his family and friends it all sounded a bit pie in the sky. Aside from that, he even wanted to learn more to develop his education in a just a few months what it has taken years for the experts to do.

Probably this was so he could run away from all his emotional hang-ups, some would say desperation, but I think he was just highly driven to at least try while being a bit more than a tad impatient at the time.

Oh and he also wanted to be the very best in every subject that came up to do with how to make money on the internet. However, if he felt that the latest idea that he was working on wasn't going to make money the next day or so, he would simply put it aside and buy the next one that came along

I have known this guy for over twenty years, and one thing that I couldn't forget about him is the fact that he always gives it his best but for some reason doesn't quite manage to succeed in a big way.

I don't think that his persistence got him the results he wanted quickly enough and I guess he needed to choose one. If he wanted to become a better affiliate marketer he should have been concentrating on that. If he wanted to Blog to the bank, he should have stayed with that until he completed it. If he wanted to write articles to get free traffic, he should have stuck with that.

In fact he attended the World Internet Summit in London in 2006 and I remember him saying that the one thing that he remembered most was Mike Filsaime presentation pointing out the pitfalls of trying to learn too much at once instead of seeing each strategy through till the end.

Then one day when were chatting after a few months of not seeing each other he admitted that he'd risked his home and his marriage because of this foolish behavior but was able to stop before it got past the point of no return. As a result he stuck with one on-line video training program I had recommended to him and now makes a regular five figure monthly income.

Here's the catch: Being focused on one goal means you simply cannot accomplish several - you have to stick to one.
