LPN Training Programs in PA

If it is your desire to serve humanitarian cause by working in varied health care facilities, you must complete accredited and approved LPN Programs in PA. The knowledge and skills accrued from the program prepares you for offering the practical nursing and direct cares to all age group patients, individuals and groups that may extend complete lifespan and meeting the different level of nursing needs such as simple, short-term and long term nursing needs. The training also makes you competent in safeguarding the patient health and welfare through safe and quality cares and makes you eligible to sit in the LPN licensing exam.
The classroom course instructions, lab practice and clinical experience of the program also educate you on diet therapy and pharmacology, the technical and clinical aspects of immunization, venipuncture and testing of the skins. You are also instructed on Physical and biological sciences, human anatomy, physiology, microbiology, elementary principles of chemistry, physics, nutrition, Social and behavioral sciences, psycho-social facts, knowledge on the family and development stages from birth to senescence. You will also be trained on the administration and withdrawal of intravenous fluids.
The program can be completed by attending full time day classes, evening and night classes that provide flexible timings for the working nurses but it is also necessary that the program schedules meets the program objectives. The clinical portion of the training is completed in a supervised environment. The evening and night program schedules can only be fixed after completing the first 4 months of the program.
The successful completion of the program permits you to sit for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) and if you are able to pass the exam, you will be rewarded with the PA LPN Licensure.
You must also understand that, as the state of PA is not a participating member of the Nurse Licensure Compact, you are not permitted to work in other states.
