And for one reason or another,NLP Course Alternatives – Free NLP Training and Learning NLP at Home Articles spending thousands of dollars and many hours learning in a classroom sounds unreasonable. That's why we're going to talk about some alternatives, so that you can learn NLP at home, or even find free NLP training.

Let's talk about the free alternative first. There are a number of NLP sites online, which you can find by a simple Google search. Many of them contain blogs, and many of THESE contain regular tips and techniques.

A lot of sites also have a free book, or a free or low-cost mini-course that you can take, either by signing up to a mailing list, or spending just a few dollars. The mailing lists themselves can also be valuable sources of free nlp training, as they are usually written by NLP trainers, and often highlight specific techniques or understanding.

Sites that maintain social media pages can also be great ways to train for free. Often, they share related articles, and the content is often different than what is available on the website. Furthermore, they are much more likely to contain a user community of comments and feedback, which you can also learn from.

Of course, the internet isn't the only place to learn about NLP for free. Your local library is also a great resource. See if you can get a copy of the Structure of Magic (Volume I and II) and Patterns of the Hypnotic Techniques of Milton H. Erickson, M.D., the works that started it all, or User Manual for the Brain by Bodenhammer and Hall, or any of the other wealth of NLP books that have been published.

I also highly recommend Monsters and Magical Sticks: There's No Such Thing as Hypnosis? By Stephen Heller, Ph.D. & Terry Steele. It's not explicitly about NLP, but it's fun to read, AND it will make you better at NLP.

Did you notice a common thread? Most of these ways to get free NLP training are ALSO great ways to learn NLP at home!

The downside? A lack of structure, and a reliance on information to be released over time means that you will tend to have to invest more time in the process. If you can't afford to invest in NLP training, you can learn enough this way to start making changes. You can use those changes to improve your situation, and by then, you may be ready to invest in yourself further, and accelerate your learning.

Some NLP sites offer a home-study course. This gives you the time and structure advantage of an expensive classroom course, and is generally MUCH easier on the wallet. Some of these home-study programs even include NLP Practitioner Certification, and they can provide an ideal balance between time, cost, and quality.

Happy NLPing!
