  • Now, mix 1/2 cup liquid laundry detergent into warm water and mix it thoroughly.
  • Take the toothbrush and dip it into the soapy solution. Rub it on the stain in circular motion. Don't rub too hard or the carpet can be damaged. The sap residue will turn into the color of the dye. Continue the process till the soap residue become white in color. You can rinse again if required.
  • Now, rinse and blot the stain with clean warm water until dry. Continue till all the soap is gone. 

With Ammonia

  • Blot the stain using a cotton towel. Apply extra pressure and continue till there is no dye left on the white towel. Mix one part of ammonia to four parts of warm water and make a solution.
  • Take the toothbrush and dip it into the ammonia solution and rub it on the stain, but make sure you don't rub too hard. The stain will start showing signs of fading. Continue till the entire stain has been completely washed off.
  • Now, rinse that area with hot water and blot it dry.
