Have you ever been to an art gallery and wished that you could buy an oil painting on canvas that looked like the real thing?

Many galleries offer reproductions on canvas,Art Reproduction on Canvas Articles but more often than not the quality is inferior and doesn’t do the original any justice. This is especially true of a masterpiece, such as the ever popular Mona Lisa by Da Vinci, or Starry Night by Van Gogh. Aside from that, keepsakes at an art gallery are usually priced higher than they should be, as you certainly couldn’t start a collection without spending a fortune. Luckily though, there is another way.

Thanks to technology, there are now shops that carry exact duplicates of priceless masterpieces and you can buy them online so that you never have to leave your home. Keep in mind though, that there is a difference between a machine duplicated print and a real art reproduction on canvas. The only way to truly get an exact reproduction is to buy one that was hand painted by a talented artist.

Sure, a machine can copy every pixel, line by line, until it has recreated the masterpiece. But let me ask you something, shouldn’t a painting, created at the hand of a master, be reproduced by hand as well?

A legitimate art reproduction on canvas shouldn’t cost you any more than a few hundred dollars, and if you buy it at the right place, you can find them for under one hundred dollars. You can buy literally any masterpiece from before the Renaissance and beyond. It doesn’t matter if you want your own Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Degas, Monet, or Dali, they are all there for your taking. Even better, you don’t have to pull an Ocean’s 12 stunt and steal it from a museum. In fact, you can start your own gallery at a tenth of the cost for what it would take to buy an original!

Although you might not have the original masterpiece in your home or gallery, I promise you that your friends and family will not know the difference. If you mix in a painting like The Last Supper with something more modern, like an Andy Warhol painting, then you’ll have a quality collection that spans centuries. Even if you don’t appreciate the Renaissance period, you can submit your own work of art in order to have a custom painting created at the same price. It doesn’t matter how obscure your favorite pieces may be, you can get an original art reproduction on canvas for less than one hundred bucks.

Another option for those of you that paint, is to create your own oil painting and then have it reproduced so that you can sell it in your shop. If you want to create your own reproductions, then use these collections as a way to learn from and study the masters of art. With your own painting by Raphael, you can study his lines and see how he shades and blends colors. There is no better teacher than a thousand year old painting created by one of the great masters of our age.
