Making The Most Of Turn-key Businesses

Have you given consideration to the different models wetouched on?

I know what its like when you decide to start your very ownbusiness. You become blinded by the dollar signs in youreyes,Making The Most Of Turn-Key Businesses Articles believe the hype and rush your decisions so you canbegin cashing the checks ‘yesterday’.

Take a step back and heed this advice.

The quickest way for you to build your empire is to doplenty of research before you make any important decisionregarding your business.

I learned this wisdom from hindsight, because my desire toget it done NOW has more than once resulted in me cuttingcorners and ending up with a poor or worse outcome.

So listen closely…

Like I mentioned earlier in this series, turn-key businessesare usually network marketing, otherwise known as M.L.M(multilevel marketing). You sell a product or service andyou try to get other people to join your team and sell aswell. Usually you will make a lot more money if you devoteyour efforts to getting others to join your team.

Some products or services are well suited to this type ofbusiness. Example:

Health and nutrition – supplements, vitamins, products forslimming down etcCommunications – cell phones, voip (voice over Internet, expect this to be big as technology improves and morepeople switch to high speed connections)Business – monthly learning tools for learning about andgrowing a business

With turn-key businesses, the most important decision youwill make is choosing a business in which you have a realchance of getting somewhere. There are many around and thevast majority of them are a complete waste of your time andmoney.

Let give a very valuable hint right now:

‘No matter what the website or advert says about how easy itis to make dollars, it will always be much more difficult……but usually still possible’.

Consider these following points when choosing a turn-keybusiness:

The Product – Are you proud to represent the product? Tryingto sell, and trying to get others to join you and sell aproduct you don’t believe in is a mistake. Your goal shouldalways to be help others improve their lives, whether as aconsumer of the product or as someone building theirbusiness dreams by joining you as a seller (calleddistributor).

Also, is it a product people want and can’t walk into theirlocal WalMart and purchase of the shelf?

Training – For most people, a turn-key business is therefirst venture into working for themselves and so they needall the training they can get. Training should include-how to sell-how to get people interested-how to advertise-where to advertise-how to communicate with existing and potential teammembers-how to follow up-Training should also include periodic teleseminars orwebinars, where you can join in and learn from experts, askquestions and if your lucky even listen in as ‘warm’prospects are called at home.

Selling Tools – As part of your membership, you shouldreceive tools to help you run your business. Hopefully theyinclude one website or more, advertising materials, anautomated email follow-up system and perhaps even leads (alist of people for you to contact about the business).Existing is not enough, they have to look professional.

A Fair Earnings Structure – They are usually difficult tounderstand at best, but at least know what you have to doto start earning an income. Some M.L.M’s require you tohave a large team of distributors before you see a dime inearnings – too difficult if your starting out.

Low Start-Up Costs – I’m not saying a high start-up costsare a bad thing. But don’t invest more than you can afford. It will be a steep learning curve and beginning withsomething a little less expensive is a good way to getstarted. I’m talking $30-$100/month.

A turn key business is how I got started and although I haveexpanded my business to include many other sources ofrevenue, it was a very good starting point and still earnsme a check every month.
