Stuffed Animal – irresistible toys for kids of all ages

Every Animal big and small is found as a Stuffed Animal at present. One of the most popular Stuffed Animal, the teddy bear was first produced in the USA when President Theodore Roosevelt was ruling the country. In fact, this teddy bear was known by the President’s name. From tiny teddy bears to larger than life teddy bears are available today. No child can say that he or she do not own a stuffed teddy bear at home. Likewise, monkeys, tigers, pandas, ducks, deer, horses etc are also seen as Stuffed toys in most homes worldwide.

Due to the great popularity of Stuffed Animal items, manufacturing them has become a big industry now. Even international companies are in the manufacture of Stuffed Animal products in countries such as China, Hong Kong and Japan. Millions of people earn their livelihood by working in these companies. Apart from them, many small and medium scale, and home based businesses are engaged in producing Stuffed toy Animal products. There is no need for having many raw materials to produce Stuffed toys.   Pieces of cloth, a bit of stuffing material such as cotton or plastic pelts, or straw and a few yards of thread are enough to produce a beautiful stuffed animal.

Even though finding the raw materials is not a big task, producing one is a creative task. Not every one can produce a stuffed animal but the talented. The posture of the animal, its skin colours, stance, and other features should be very attractive for stuffed toy animals to be perfect for commercial purposes. Even for domestic usage, if a family member can make stuffed toys it should be attractive enough if it is to have a prominent place in the home.   Unfortunately, talented people who are capable of producing such fine stuffed toy animals are rare nowadays.

Nevertheless, finished stuffed toy products are available wholesale at present. Many children are fortunate enough to receive more than one stuffed toy animal for their birthdays or any other special occasions. Most children’s wards in hospitals receive stuffed animals during festival seasons and on religious days as donations. The reason is children like to receive animals such as bear, cats and dogs more than any other gifts. Likewise, every child’s educational institutions also have the stuffed animal in their premises. They are used for educational purposes as well. Rarely would a child like to have a stuffed man or woman, even if they do not comprehend the reason behind the rejection.
