Using very sophisticated motion detection sensors that can see through walls, the Electronic Secure Dog can actually start barking when someone comes to your door, reducing your chance of being robbed. About the size of a fat loaf of bread, the electronic guard dog has a huge speaker inside, motion detection sensors, and some wires. It's easy to set up your electronic watchdog by plugging it into a 110v power supply, and turning it on to one of four settings. The main setting is the barking dog, and you can adjust the volume level, and the sensitivity of the motion detection sensors.
We set up the Electronic Secure Dog and went outside. As soon as we approached the front door of our home, you could hear a dog barking. It sounded like a medium sized dog that was in the back of the house, or in a bedroom, barking. When we stopped, it stopped. When we moved, it barked; the motion detection works great.
If you keep moving in place, it does vary the bark, so it's not just a loop of the same bark over and over. While it did not sound like a big dog, it did sound real enough on first listening to make me want to keep moving on to the next apartment if I was a criminal.
We went inside and heard the dog. It didn't sound too convincing inside the house, though outside, it sounded pretty real. You can adjust the sensitivity of the motion detector and the volume. There are three other setting in addition to the guard dog, and the motion detection will work to about 7 meters, or 21 feet. It also has a 120 degree radar wave, which means you can set it on a table, and it cover a range above and below the front of the unit, spreading out to 120 degrees.
There is a rain forest mode that will constantly play the sounds of the rain forest; birds, rain, leave rustling, etc. There is a motion detection mode of rain forest that when a customer enters your store for example, the rain forest starts playing. The third mode is the dog barking, which goes to a loud alarm to further drive away punks.
