Cockroach Control - Roach Annihilation

Good cockroach control requires more strategy than stomping one roach and leaving the entire nest intact. Since cockroaches are highly adaptable to environmental alterations, simple insecticides do no harm to them. Some of the best short-term solutions for cockroach control include:

• Use an insecticide that targets cockroaches specifically.
• You can create simple, homemade traps like a mason jar or other deep containers and fill them with an inch of water. The roaches will drown once becoming a victim of the trap with no escape.
• Place boric acid in roach prone areas such as cracks in your home's foundation, windows, and doors. The powder will adhere to the roach and eventually be ingested, ultimately killing it. The powder can also be brought back to the cockroach nest and help to exterminate other roaches.

Roach reproduction is at an all-time high and stomping a few of them will not solve your infestation problem. By proactively practicing proper pest control methods, homeowners can keep cockroaches out of their homes forever.

• Install sticky traps. These powerful adhesive traps render cockroaches paralyzed, ensuring a fateful death. Since roaches can go months without food, you will probably find a live roach in a sticky trap.
