Storage Space: How to get more of it

I thought I should talk to you about storage space. I often hear people complaining about how they just don't have enough of it. They assume that their home is too small or something along those lines. The reason that people are running into this problem is that they're just going out and buying stuff. The more you buy, the more you're going to have to store in the future. It's something that you have to understand. When you buy stuff your house isn't getting bigger, so you're going to have to put it somewhere. I'm going to show you where you can get more space.

Typically, the reason that people run out of storage space around the crawl area is that they don't do it right. They just put stuff in that area and really don't think much about it. You really need things to fit into every single space that is available. When you start trying to used every cubic foot of space than you really see how much you have. What I do is get a plastic bin and put my stuff in those. The reason I like these bins is that you can stack them. I stack them up and fill all the space that I can. When you do this you'll see that you have plenty of space.

Shelves are a nice thing to get. You can get cheap plastic ones and hide them in your closet. This is what I like to do for the stuff that I still use on a regular basis.
