For some people,The Electrician Extraordinaire Disaster Articles it's hard for them to come to terms with the fact that they just can't do everything. People like these believe they are the master of all trades and it's not the easiest thing in the world for them to break down and admit they need help.

Imagine a man who has a wife and two children. They've been living in their home for nearly two years and the father has made it his mission to be the maintenance man extraordinaire. If anything's broken around the house, he manages to fix it. Because of his success, his family began to look to him to fix everything, no matter how big or small.

So, when the garage doors started going haywire, no one was surprised when he volunteered to fix the problem. Although he'd never done any extensive electrical work before, he was pretty confident in his abilities.
One of his first duties was damage assessment. He wanted to see just how much work he'd have to do. While inspecting the doors, he realized that the left door of the garage wouldn't open at all. The one on the right only opened from inside. Therefore, if anyone was outside in the rain and no one was home, the garage would be of no use to them.

The family lived with the inconvenience while the father tirelessly worked to fix the issue. He conducted extensive online research as well as sought the help of his longtime friend who once thought about becoming an electrician.

"Hey, I really need your help," said the father. "I'm trying to fix the garage doors, but these wires are really confusing."

"I wish I could help you, but there's a reason I didn't go through with the profession," his friend chuckled. "Why don't you call a professional electrician? It will make your life much easier."

"Nah, I'm pretty sure I can do it on my own," he said. "I'm pretty much the ultimate handyman."

So, he went back to work. After about another week of working and re-wiring, he was finally done. He called the family outside to see the finished work.

"Now, I want to show you guys, especially my son, that you don't have to call on so-called professionals every time you need something done," he said with a proud tone. "Son, you give us the honor of pressing the car remote so we can see our newly-fixed garage doors in action."

His son pressed the button and everyone smiled as they saw the door go up with no problem. "See, I knew I could do it," said the father. "Now, go ahead and close it."

He clicked on the button, but the door wouldn't budge.

"Dad, it's not working," said the son.

The father took the button from his son and began to click it multiple times, but it still wouldn't work. He stepped back and let out a loud sigh.

"I guess I'll call an electrician in the morning," he said in a defeated tone.
