These both of the designs are not having machine room so that is why the installation of this elevator is much less than others. 
A fourth kind of residential elevator is an overhead winding drum. This design also does not need a machine room and oil. This often use for green home elevators. This residential elevator is commonly installed or fixed into the roof of the home.
