The head Interpol officer is elected by a two/third majority of the delegate. Each country has their own delegates in its country, the head Interpol officer is based in Lyon, France, he can remain in office for a period of 4 years, and can also be re-elected.

The Interpol Notice is an international request by the judicial system of a country for the

There are seven different types of Interpol Notices which are used to share information between its members:

RED
The red notice means the suspect is a serious criminal and allows the member country to Pursue the suspect, keeping an eye on him and temporarily arresting him until his country ask for his delivery through diplomatic ways.

Blue
The blue notice is used when the country is looking for a suspect, and they do not know where they are. A blue notice is sent through Interpol, and the country where the suspect resides informs the other country that the suspect is in their borders.

Green
The green notice is exactly like the red notice, it needs the same documents as the red notice, the only difference is that the green notice represents a less serious crime than the red notice.

Orange
When a country wants to warn about a suspect or event that will be an imminent threat to public safety, they share the information regarding the suspect using the orange notice. For example, where an expected act of terrorism is likely to occur in a country, the other member state of Interpol can forewarn that the event is likely to occur.

Yellow Notice
The yellow notice is used as a means to help locate missing persons, often minors, or to help identify persons who are unable to identify themselves

Black
Bodies found in the country but not citizens in the country, so any country looking for them knows that, the deceased body lies in the country in which it was found.

Children Notification
When a country is looking for a child they issue a notice that they are looking for a child through Interpol.
