America is gearing up to pick a new and hopefully improved President of The United States. The stakes are high and yet is anyone really asking the right questions? The media seems to be more concerned with sound bites or slips of the tongue or even a fashion statement to define the right person for the job.

The political spin on what America and the World needs is almost a joke. We all are seeking peace and harmony world wide,Political Games Articles a good education for our children and health care that will meet all of our growing needs. This is a constant battle during a campaign, but has any of these problems been solved?

You can talk all you want about what we need, but is anyone going to do anything about it? Every politician running for office always gives those heart touching speeches about a family they meant across America that can't get health care, or even a job to feed their family. The Politician of the day continue to promise if he or she is elected, they will help the American people rise up and be prosperous.

That is a nice speech, but has the media or anyone for that matter ever went back to find out how those people are doing or if any of those politicians words ever came true? Where is the press when you need them? They are turning into gossip specialist instead of reporting the facts that will change our lives. The political games and the finger pointing to make headlines is a distraction for lack of ideas. When are we going to learn to get back to basics and let a new leader tell us how they will actually lead.

Personally I find the media and all the mud slinging a waste of our time and our money. If we can't even lead ourselves to good decisions and sound planning for our future, then how can we help others around the world. My grandma was a wise woman and she always said, let the best man win because he has the best ideas. Wow, now there is a concept that America was based on.

Political games and talking out of both sides of your mouth, is not what makes America great. What makes us unique is that we rise up and unite to a common cause that helps our country and our lives. If we continue to just whine and let the political spin rule us, we will lose the blessings GOD gave us. We all have a right to believe as we choose, but for me, America is great because GOD is the true power we trust. You can fight it, you can try and change it, but those that follow the golden rule, will keep our country and our people safe and prosperous.
