One Plus One and Moto X both have are launched in 2014, so can you tell which handset is better? If we look closely we can say that both devices are similar in many areas with great value. They both are great devices but sometimes the difference lies in its features and engineering used in its design.

The display is very much similar in both devices with full HD display. The difference lies as Moto X uses AMOLED display and an IPS LCD on One Plus One. The process is similar with with 16GB internal storage and identical 13MP camera for cameras with dual LED flash. Moto X features 5.2” AMOLED display with 1920*1080p resolution. With MotoX you can expect an upgradation over its predecessor in terms of screen and resolution. A pixel density of 424ppi makes the content sharp.

 

While, the One Plus One comes with 5.5” screen of 1080*1920p resolution with 401ppi. It has a Gorilla Glass 3 for protection and its LCD has a standard RGB with equal sized sub-pixels of each colour. When comparing Moto X has best display with better viewing angles.

 

Performance

 

The Moto X is supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 with 2.5GHz quad-core CPU. The GPU is Adreno 330 with 5.7MHz. The device has silicon default setup that is a great performer. It has done a great job in various Android Benchmarking applications.

 

One Plus One comes with Snapdragon 801 chipset with a quad-core 2.5GHz Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM for doing heavy tasks. This device scores an average result in Android Benchmarking applications.

 

Camera

 

Moto X gives the choice to its users to click quality pictures as it comes with 13MP f/2.25 camera with dual LED flash. The ring in the device produces light refraction to improve flash performance. Its camera can be activated just with a single gesture.

 

The camera comes with HDR, burst shots and panorama. It can also produce a 4K footage with best of colours and accurate details.

 

The One Plus One has the Sony-made Exmor IMX 214 S.06” CMOS sensor. It has HDR and Panorama for switching cameras.

 

Battery

 

When compared with other devices Moto X has a high endurance of 48 hours. Its battery size is the same as of the previous models. The device scores a 48 hour of battery test.

 

OnePlus One has a 3100mAh battery that delivers 20 hours of talk time, at least 10 hours of browsing and video playback. Though One was let down from its power management in stand-by when compared to other devices.

Comparing these devices, the winner is Moto X. It wins over OnePlus One in terms of design. This time Motorola has proved everything wrong with by launching a high quality phone at very cost price.

 

Whereas, if battery and price are your priority then OnePlus One should be your take. Overall, Moto X seems to be a better device to make it your choice.
