There are so many choices for sexy panties these days that it's kind of crazy.  Long gone are the days when our only option was the cotton "granny panties."  Now we can pick the style of our panties based on our outfits, our comfort levels, and even our moods. Colours, cuts, fabrics . . . there's really no limit anymore. 

The ability to shop online has also increased our options when it comes to sexy panties and other lingerie.  There are literally thousands of styles available on the Internet, and the ability to browse through them from the comfort of our own homes makes everything that much easier.  Of course, narrowing down the choices to pick a favourite pair can be pretty tricky.

Women's underwear basically breaks down into three main categories:

Briefs - When you picture the typical pair of women's underwear, you are most likely picturing a pair of briefs.  These are cut like the bottom of swimsuits.  In fact, many briefs are considered to be bikinis, just like swimsuits are.  There are a few choices to be made when we purchase briefs, though, including the cut on the thigh and the rise.  Low-rise briefs ride below your belly button and can be really sexy panties.

Boy Shorts - These types of panties are called by this name because they resemble boys' underwear. This type also comes in so many cute colours and styles. These briefs are form-fitting and are usually very short, but not to be confused with actual shorts. You can sometimes find these sexy panties with ruffle trim or lace trim.

Thongs and G-Strings - The terms "thong" and "g-string" are often used to refer to the same thing, although there is a slight difference.  Both types of sexy panties consist of a patch of cloth that covers the front and a narrow strip of fabric that sits between the buttocks.  The strip is generally narrower on a g-string than it is on a thong.  Many women like thongs because they tend to show less of a pantie line than briefs.  Because the buttocks are exposed, many people find them to be very sexy, too.

Each type of underwear has its own purpose, although, they can all be dressed up to be extra special.  A pair of lacy bikinis can be every bit as appealing as a g-string, even more so for some people, in fact.  It often boils down to what type of fabric is used, how they're embellished, and even the attitude of the woman wearing them.  The cut and style are all well and good, but that's not all that goes into making a pair of sexy panties.  The confidence and attitude of the lady can make any garment sexy.
