Vitamin D3, C, and biotin are essential to maintain good hair health.  Vitamin C helps in the production in collagen while D3 helps in the production of Keratin, a protein that makes up your hair. Biotin is responsible for good hair growth and its deficiency can cause immense hair fall.

2} Reduce heat

Heat is often used during hair styling, blow drying, straightening, and curling. Completely avoiding heat is not possible. Hence, there are some ways to reduce exposure to heat.  Avoid using heat daily and restrict to only specific occasions. Reduce using blow dryer on your hair and allow your hair to dry naturally for 2-3 hours.  Don’t sleep until your hair is completely dry as sleeping with wet hair cause more breakage. If it is absolutely necessary to use heat on your hair, consider applying  a good heat protectant, as it prevents damage caused due to heat.

Shampoos and conditioners are used while washing the hair and work in a way to strengthen the hair follicles from the root till the tip. Hair masks are generally applied and left on for few hours for the nutrients to penetrate into the hair strands. Hair oils are usually applied before and after a shower and usually contain ingredients that are best for hair growth. Some of the most commonly used hair oils are coconut, jojoba, macadamia, argan, and moroccan.

5} Reduce frequent washing

The common mistake most women do is washing their hair frequently. However, hair should not be washed so frequently. Hair should actually be left several days without washing so that natural oils are produced and keep the scalp moist. The natural oils naturally penetrate into the hair shaft and keep it smooth and healthy. If you want to feel fresh between your hair washes, you can use a dry shampoo. This will cleanse the hair from unwanted dirt and keep the hair fresh.
