With no structured office and infrastructure in place to make you sit at your desk like you do in the office; it’s very natural for you to keep changing places and not be steady in your work. But it’s not the physical change of place that really matters; it’s most likely the psychological factor that’s would matter here; the tendency to be casual with tasks.

Human nature is to get lethargic and procrastinate and with no boss around, you might just as well slip into one of the comfort zones that might affect your productivity. Therefore, it’s best that you allocate yourself, preferably a fixed and dedicated work space. That way you can create a work boundary for yourself with no disturbances or distractions around to bother you.

With no one imposing any hard and fast rules on you; you finally can get to choose the most productive time slot that’s best for you to do the most critical tasks. This is especially true for creative folks. So you can now define your own timelines as long as you deliver work well within the deadlines.
