Though Pune and Mumbai are so near to each other, they differ in geographical characteristics, culturally and in the way of life. In fact, Pune is said to be the cultural capital of Maharashtra. The best Marathi lingo is said to be spoken here than anywhere else in the state. Having said that, Pune is no less cosmopolitan than its larger counterpart.

In addition, whatever is available in Mumbai is available in its second largest city too. Understanding that it is such a multi-faceted city, all well-known retailers have opened their operations here.
