You should also determine how often you talk and evaluate the plans available for your phone. Only choose the plan that offers the minutes that you need per month. If you only talk about 400 minutes a month, then there is no need to invest in an unlimited plan.

Determine the people that you talk to the most and check to see what plans and phone carriers they use. Some companies allow you to talk free to people with the same carrier. You may want to switch to a different provider so that you can save even more money.
