An 8 megapixel digital camera. A 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen. Full Wi-Fi connectivity. A huge 8 GB of internal storage as standard. These are just some of the features you will find on the soon to be released Nokia C7.

The Nokia C7 ticks all the boxes and it looks set to become a popular Smartphone formats up to this.  Measuring 117.3x 56.8x 10.5 mm,Nokia C7 - The Ultimate All Rounder? Articles it is a comfortable phone to hold and use, especially given its light weight of 130 g.  In order to navigate the Symbian OS 3 user interface, users are provided with the large 3.5 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. This does a great job of displaying photos and videos thanks to the ability to display up to 16M colours within its pixel resolution of 360x 480.  The screen also features a built in accelerometer sensor which automatically rotates the onscreen content based upon the orientation of the phone.

 

 Both vibration and ringing are used to alert users to incoming calls and messages along with the added bonus of being able to assign MP3 files as ringtones. Handsfree communication is easily achieved thanks to a built in speakerphone system and a 3.5mm audio jack which can accommodate both handsfree headsets and earphones for listening to music.

 

The Nokia C7 utilises both GPRS and EDGE to connect to cellular networks, whilst access to the internet relies on an HSDPA connection in areas with 3G coverage. This provides internet browsing speeds of up to 10.2 Mbps. A faster connection is available however, thanks to full Wi-Fi connectivity which takes advantage of local wireless networks where available. Bluetooth and micro USB connections are also provided which allows the handset to connect to compatible hardware devices such as other phones and computers. This allows a number of tasks to be carried out such a backing up contact info or transferring media files.

 

A stunning 8 megapixel digital camera is also provided and is one of the most impressive features of the phone. Obviously, the still images are of great quality, even when zoomed in thanks to its high pixel count and pixel resolution of 3264x 2448. The camera can also shoot video in 720p HD quality at 25 frames per second.

 

A long list of additional features is included as standard, ranging from multimedia and entertainment features, as well as productivity tools such as a document viewer.

 

Several colour variants of the Nokia C7 will be available, making it an appealing all rounder which is sure to gain a large number of fans.
